Welcome to Scholar Insight Journal

Scholar Insight Journal (SIJ) is a Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan-recognized Y Category peer-reviewed, quarterly international academic journal dedicated to promoting high-quality scholarly research and critical understanding in the broad field of Arts & Humanities (Miscellaneous).

The journal provides a platform for researchers, academics, and scholars to publish original and innovative research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge across diverse disciplines, including Arabic, Urdu, English, Islamic Studies, Religious Studies, Languages, Linguistics, Literature, Islamic Education, Sociology, Psychology, and related fields within Arts & Humanities and the broader humanities.

Scholar Insight Journal welcomes rigorous theoretical, empirical, comparative, interdisciplinary, and critical research that contributes meaningfully to scholarly knowledge and academic discussion.

Peer Review

Scholar Insight Journal follows a rigorous double-anonymous (double-blind) peer review process.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening for scope, originality, academic quality, ethical compliance, and adherence to submission requirements. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise.

The final publication decision is made independently by the Editor or an authorized Editorial Board member after considering the reviewers' reports and the journal's editorial and ethical policies.

Open Access

Scholar Insight Journal is a fully open-access journal. All published scholarly articles are freely and immediately available online without subscription fees, registration requirements, or access barriers.

Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of published articles in accordance with the applicable Creative Commons license.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright in their published works.

All scholarly articles published by Scholar Insight Journal are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

The CC BY 4.0 license permits sharing, copying, redistribution, adaptation, and reuse, including commercial reuse, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), the journal, and the source.

Publication Ethics and Research Integrity

Scholar Insight Journal is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics, research integrity, transparency, and responsible scholarly communication.

The journal follows relevant principles and guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and maintains policies addressing plagiarism, research misconduct, conflicts of interest, authorship, corrections and retractions, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence and automated tools.

The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, citation manipulation, unethical research practices, or other forms of publication misconduct.

Digital Preservation

Scholar Insight Journal is committed to the long-term preservation, integrity, and continued accessibility of its published scholarly record.

The journal's current digital preservation arrangements include LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS), together with routine hosting and database backups for operational recovery and continuity.

The journal does not claim participation in any additional preservation service unless that service has been formally activated and the journal's content is being actively preserved through it.

Editorial Independence and Academic Standards

The journal's editorial decisions are based on academic quality, originality, relevance, research integrity, and scholarly contribution.

The journal is committed to fair and impartial editorial practices and does not discriminate against authors on the basis of nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, religion, or personal characteristics.

The Editorial Board comprises scholars from national and international academic institutions with expertise relevant to the journal's scope.

Scholar Insight Journal is published quarterly, with four issues published each year.
